Banned for what?

I was banned from the other forum. just chatting over there, i said something to another that was not meant to be an offense in any way (I was just kidding. we all pretty much knew it.) and then i get banned. I sent him a PM

I'm cool now. just for others to see since it couldn't fit in the chatbox. seriously though I am still amazed that he takes a single comment so damn seriously. (it IS called No BS Borderlands, but still, throwing the banhammer so easily is way off; let alone the IP banhammer...)

After this post, I am not going to talk about it anymore becqause

a) i will get banned or infracted for flaming
b) end up trying to sign up there under a different IP and spam the forum out, which i thought of but know i am going to get banned on gbx for it or something
c) attract too much attention to one small (to him) incident that means nothing (to me)

let's not talk about it elsewhere.

oh and, i had since the size BBcoding to get past filters does not work here, i had to bypass it myself. on the actual post I was using the trick. also, the last poll choice is just sort of making fun of his point of view. i say completely unreasonable. ennui or anyone else would not drop the banhammer on a such a small comment, not even an infraction from what I believe.

All my ranting will remain here. otherwise i'm fine now.

Well, I myself am not 100% sure on why he banned you, but your response certianly wont get you any points. I figured you just said that to tick him off though.

Yeah I was gonna try and argue with him, but now there not really a reason to. Our forum is better though. It's 400% more awesome than the next leading competitor.

Also, having experience with running forums, I have to say this: if I ban someone, and they make a second account, I will immediately IP ban them. Forever. Because I don't want to let someone who can't even wait a ban out back into my community at all. Fortunately for the members on the forum I co-Admin, we are really relaxed and would prefer to resolve issues without the use of bans.
